Uni-G took his first leap into the rap game in 2006 when he and his group (ShowTyme) was picked up by Hip-Hop legend Mr. Biggs & Jazzy Jay of the Soulsonic Force. Moving onto a solo career Uni departed from the group and in 2009; Uni became well recognized for his hit single “Do the Cocoa Butter” which made media takeout and several other blog sites the first week it released. Uni teamed up with videographer Jordan Tower Films (WSHH) and released the official video on June 2011; the song has now received over 100,000 plus hits on the internet. His long-awaited album The Commercial was released on July 2012. Uni-G's goal is to represent an idea of success with the formula of a “Positive Outlook” always leads to a “Positive Outcome.” He sees no end to his craft and his creativity and believes the key to success is to focus your conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear.
