Susie Prestvik

This channel started as a hobby back in 2008. I then met my Norwegian husband and ended up moving from Los Angeles to Norway. I have embraced my life here (moved in 2011), its culture, and its people. My father was great in his Southern California garden, growing mostly fruits and desert plants that are native to the area, but I never had a chance to practice gardening myself. It wasn't until I moved that I realized I loved it just as much; maybe it was a way of coping with the fact that I was so far away from him. I have since moved from the apartment I first lived in here in the Nordics to a bigger place in a quieter area. My garden is small, but I try to make the best out of the space we have. It's a labor of love and a work in progress.
