SUNTEARS ist ein Projekt der beiden Songwriter Andy und Marcus Fechner. Die Brüder waren zuvor für das Songwriting der Rockgruppe eleVate verantwortlich, mit der sie ein internationales Publikum erreichen konnten. Die Songs, in der Hauptsache auf Akustikgitarre und Piano komponiert, erzählen kleine Geschichten und möchten den Zuhörer in einen musikalischen Kurzurlaub entführen. Im Jahr 2015 veröffentlichten die SUNTEARS ihr erstes Album "Who Knows Who You Are?" Es folgten Konzerte erst als Duo, später auch als Trio mit Jens Krieg am Schlagzeug. Mit dem Song "Useless" konnte man auch das Radio für sich gewinnen und bekam Einsätze, so wie auch einzelne Playlisten. Der Song "Beautiful And Wild" wurde zum Titelsong des Kinofilms "WildWestwegs / Trail of Secrets". Die neue Single "No Room For Two" wird am 23.02.2024 veröffentlicht.
