No one likes to think about disasters, but they happen here just like in every other part of the world. The question is — are you prepared to survive them? Ready Houston is designed to provide quick access to a variety of local and national information on disaster preparedness. Ready Houston is a regional preparedness initiative for Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, and Montgomery Counties in southeast Texas. The program is funded by the Department of Homeland Security, and is a project of the Houston UASI Community Preparedness Committee. This site is produced by the City of Houston Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security.
