Cissy is a five-time national 1st prize winner at the Canadian Music Competitions (CMC) in 2008, 2006, 2003, 2000 & 1999, and won Grand Prize in 2006. At the age of 13, Cissy won 1st prize at 2004 Canadian Chopin Competition in Junior Division. At the age of 14, Cissy has appeared as a soloist with the Toronto Philharmonia at its 2006-2007 seasons' opening concert, playing Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. She also performed numerous times at the Canadian Broadcasting Center (CBC)'s Glenn Gould Studio. She was recorded live by CBC Radio and BRAVO! TV, and her performance was broadcast on CBC Radio Two in the program Music Around Us. Cissy has participated in Master Classes with Lang Lang, Anton Kuerti, Leon Fleisher, and Gary Graffman. As a scholarship student at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Cissy was a student of Professor Orlov. Previously, Cissy studied with teacher Meizhi Bi. Currently, Cissy studies at Princeton University.
