Hi everyone! Two years ago, we fostered an English springer spaniel for a rescue organization and just fell in love with her. We officially adopted Dottie a few weeks later. About eight months after that, a lady from the St. Bernard rescue in town called us about fostering a Newfie. His family was moving away, and they weren't taking him. We said "yes." Louie came with quite a few health issues, but is now on medication, is getting lots of good exercise and does quite well for a large, 8-year-old dog. In Sep. 2011, I went to the local dog adoption fair. I absolutely fell head-over-heels in love with this little cocker spaniel that was up for adoption. Her hair was long and super curly and hanging in her face. We ended up bringing Gracie home as well, just to foster at first, but kept her, too, of course.
