Elegido en el año de 2000 como una de las mejores voces juveniles del milenio, luego por dos veces consecutivas gana como la mejor voz pasaje en las “Nuevas Voces del Folclor Llanero” y en igual número de ocasiones gana el “Torneo Internacional del Joropo”, es invitado especial al WOMEX 2008 en (Sevilla – España). En el año 2016 logro conquistar y cautivar a los Colombianos, posicionándose como el indiscutible ganador del reality para artistas profesionales A OTRO NIVEL. Actualmente, es uno de los artistas más reconocidos gracias a sus propuestas innovadoras en la música llanera.
