I don't want to know anything about your life anymore. I don't want to find out things that might break my heart. And even if i can't get you off of my mind, even if that shows how weak i am for not being able to forget, i just don't want to know the new things you've been up to. I don't want to find out things that will make ultimately hurt me in the end. I know you wouldn't tell me either way, just because you don't want me to annoy you if for some reason you do hurt me in some way. You don't want the confrontation, neither do i. So why can't i bring myself to do everything i can to avoid it? Why do I keep fighting myself to talk to you? We have no unsettled business, no connection between us anymore. We are just two people now, two completely separate people. I need to get that into my head.
