Broken Entertainment

On Broken Entertainment I take a look at the state of our current entertainment media. I examine movies, books, comics, tv shows, you name it and pick them apart for lessons Writers can learn from. I will also hold these media accountable for bad decisions, politically motivated nonsense and other egregious violations that have lead us to a world of broken entertainment. Most of our modern entertainment is broken, Terminator is dead, Star Wars is dead, Star Trek is dying and all because of terrible writing decisions, many of them motivated by political ideology. Writers such as myself can learn from even the worst entertainment though because every movie, comic, novel, etc has something to say about story telling and writing, sometimes we just have to take a deeper look.
